At MedComm Neighborhood Medical Care, our major focus is treating our patients.  And we always strive to treat
patients the way we would want to be treated if our situations were reversed.  We know our patients are sick, or in
pain, and so we want their experience with us to be as professional and painless as possible.  An example of this is
providing our convenient online form to allow you to minimize the time spent in the waiting room to see the doctor.  
Simply click the online form link, fill out the information and print.  Bring the completed form in with you, and spend
less time in the waiting room.  It’s just that simple.

X-ray and laboratory service are available on site, giving our doctors great diagnostic capability.  It also makes things
easier on the patient so that we don’t have to send patients to a different location just for a test in order to diagnose
the problem.

Payments
We accept all forms of payment for our medical services, including cash, check, and credit cards.  We also accept
most major insurances.  Even if you have an HMO (yikes!), we can see and treat you, and give you a detailed receipt of
charges so that you can seek reimbursement from the insurer of your HMO.  We can accept qualified insurances, as
determined by patients’ individual plans.
Insurance
Insurances can be frustrating for patients, and it seems they are always changing.  They change what they will pay for,
what they won’t pay for, how much patients are responsible for, even what drugs you can and can’t get.  And each
insurance is different.  A patient with one insurer won’t have the same “coverage” (talk about an oxymoron!) as another
patient with a different insurer.  But often, even patients with the same insurance company will have different
coverages because of different plans.  Its enough to make anyone crazy!

We do all we can to help patients navigate the confusing maze constructed by insurers, including internet verification of
benefits, or even phoning the company and doing battle with a maddening automated answering “system”.  We even
have a billing specialist dedicated solely to demystifying the puzzles presented to patients and health care companies
alike, all to make a visit to your doctor’s office as painless as possible.

No one feels the pains of frustration in dealing with insurance companies more than we do.  After all, we’re patients, too.  
Our pledge is to do all we can to help smooth out at least some of the rough edges that insurance has brought to
medical care, while never losing sight of our most important goal; to get our patients better, so that they can get back to
their busy lives.
